It is not as busy as Koh Samui and offers stunning beaches with affordable bech accommodation in the form of chalets (a bedroom with ensuite bathroom). The hammock on the verandah makes for hours of chilling... A great place to escape the crowds.

orla says: “ Koh Tao is a gorgeous island, which is very relaxed and chilled out. It is known to be the best place for scuba diving in Thailand. The snorkelling is also excellent. The beaches are very pretty with bars and restaurants dotted along them.
