There's not a whole lot of sightseeing to be done in Kobe, but it is a nice city to just hang out and wander around in. Public transportation is good, and it's also very walkable or bikable. There are also lots of good international restaurants and a number of excellent import food stores. It's generally a nice, down to earth city. I'm not sure if it would appeal to tourists, but any foreigners living in Japan would enjoy the trip. |

Kobe is a cool city. With heaps to do and see. The China town there is cool where you can get some cool Kanji (chinese)cheap Tshirts. |

It was so great! I and my friend really LOVED Kobe so much. First of all, it was very clean and it was easy to look around. They have sightseeing buses call <Citiy loop> and that goes pretty much every sightseeing places. |

nice relaxed city between sea and mountains. great for short stay. we loved the port liner monorail train to port island. nice shopping possibilities near sannomiya station. |
