The first night in town we went for dinner, had few glasses of wine and were looking fwd to a few nightcaps in one of the locals, but everything was closed and it wasnt even 10pm. Maybe on Mondays they take the night off. Anyway we ran back to the hostel to get to the bar before it closed - we made it. Anyway the following night we made our way to the Tavern, located just a 5 min walk from the hostel Island Vibe. Its a small local bar, nothing fancy but it is cosy. and the owner was very nice, and delighted to see a few Irish and English people coming in the door - we do tend to drink quite a bit more than most! Anyway we settled in for a few rounds, the owner brought down a few complimentary shots throughout the night. Again not a party place but v pleasant. I dont know the exact address but its on the main street.close
