Kokura is a nice city to drop during the trip to Kyushu due to Kokura Castle and surrounding "very dramatic" and cool modern architecture (I mean shopping center next to it)!!! Sun Sky Hotel 67%
It is a nice and typical so called "Japanese business hotel", so room was very small and bed little short for me (gosh I forgot about this detail again during reservation!!!) I don't think that they received any info about my reservation from hostelworld.com, since they had no any trace of it...

– posted on Oct 2006 5Please remove this hotel from "Fukuoka City" it is NOT in Fukuoka city! It is in Kokura, which is actually pretty far from Fukuoka. It was awful to discover that Kokura is very far from "Fukuoka City" (Hakata) after arriving there. Please take measure, otherwise other clients of yours will...
