Such a beautiful town, only about a 20 minute drive from Cork city. If you are here in the summer and the weather happens to be nice you feel like you are somewhere foreign not on Irish soil! Its a gorgeous fishing village with loads of really nice restaurants and pubs. You can go on boat trips around the harbour and the surrounding area and just outside of Kinsale are some fabulous beaches! Lots of really nice boutiques to pick up knick knacks and clothes that are not your usual run of the mill. Kinsale is also the home of Giles Norman, the photographer famous for his fantastic black and white photoprints - a staple for any home (and really good value too)! Kinsale is definitely worth a trip if you are ever down in that neck of the woods!

Kinsale is really nice town, if not a bit tourist. Its located on the Cork coast, and is famous for boating and yachting. The marina there is full of boats and is so busy in summer. Still its worth a visit. Some fab restaurants there too incl the famous Man Fridays. Good place to start a road trip along the coast.

Kinsale is a gorgeous seaside village in Co.Cork and unlike many seaside villages this remains unspoilt. It is known as the culinary capital of Ireland due to the large abundance of fresh fish that is caught in the area with some great restaurants to choose from which have been reviewed already. We sampled a bit of everything while we were here from adventure in the shape of kayaking, restaurants, bars and nightclubs. I would recommend Hamlets Cafe Bar that is attached to The Blue Haven hotel, it is a trendy and lively bar. With visited 2 nightclubs on our travels Bacchus and The White Lady both not very appealing but great for a boogie at the end of the night. If that is all too mad for you there are plenty of spa options in the town to help you unwind. Nightlife aside make sure you take a stroll around the winding streets and soak in the atmosphere of this quaint town!
