We came back from our day-tour at 9 p.m. and were really hungry so we went down to the kitchen but it was closed! The explanation was that a vip person slept in the room right next to the kitchen so he was not waken up!!! Kitchen was closed for the guests- what the fuck???! I talked to the stuff and finally they allowed me but i mustn't make any noise..=!?!?= Rules were very strict... when you go out the kitchen door and you are outside and smoke you had to pay about 50€ as a penale?!?!?! What the fuck??! When you came in in the evening you were asked for your name and they asked us if we are going out again or not.. for security but i mean everybody has a key that booked here a bed.. in other hostels you were not checked like a child! We were 2 girls and booked a private room.. it was so small that we couldn't really open our suitcases!! The showers didnt work good.. and the water was so hot you burned yourself. It was a hard to handle that and get the right temperature! Wouldnt recommend it.close

The dining room is small. Anyway, don't think you can cook there. There is nothing in use to cook properly except a microwave !!!!!!! Our twin room was tiny but en-suite.

A small light cover was left unused after it was burnt (probably years ago). The floor was damaged and the cold water tap was running. Altogether I enjoyed the place.

Reasonable hostel, didn't allow drinking in the hostel and the place was grubby. Location is good, near the centre of the town and within walking distance to most sites around the town.

Was kept awake all night by drunk idiots. Staff did nothing to stop their antics. Booked a double room got bunk beds in a room no bigger than them. Breakfast was a disgrace and the kitchen Im sure would love to see a health inspector. Location was good though

Great location, central to main street, pubs, shops, nightlife etc. Friendly staff and excellent security, night porter checks how many people in beds throughout night. Smallish kitchen and dining area. Get ready to climb some stairs to the top floors!

When we got there everything was a mess, kitchen and bathroom areas definitely not clean. Staff didn't care much and left the hostel for a whole night (8 pm to 8 am) leaving all guests locked out on the street.

The staff was ok, but the cleanliness was more than poor. Sheet and towel laundry was lying underneath the stairs where everybody colud trip on them. In our room there hasn't been vacuumed for ages. -We found candy wrappers and dirt underneath our beds, the carpet was torn etc.

Nice enough hostel with free breakfast and WiFi! Very inexpensive as well. The people running the place were a bit unorganized sometimes (they said calling locally was free, but a couple times we couldn't find the phone so we had to pay to call anyways). Still, great place!
