9Loved staying here!!! Killarney wouldn't be the same without this beautiful little place. It is small and cute with a cosy open fire at night. I would recommend staying here to any backpacker going through Killarney, I stayed four nights and didn't want to leave!!! :)

9the hallways are a tight squeeze, but the atmosphere is very homey....a wonderful place to stay!

It was clearly a smaller operation, however, and was not nearly as 'nice' in terms of the showers and other accomodations. The security was not as thorough, but with its small town setting that's not as much of an issue. I would definitely stay here again!close

1The comun area is quite nice, full equiped and clean kitchen. The rooms are very very small, however very clean. You can't drink alcohol in the hostel, but the signs are wrong saying that you can't drink in the rooms and not telling nothing about the hostel.Staff was kind.

1We were late and the manager was kinda cranky about that. No drinking or anything like that and a really early quiet hour. Relatively clean, and close to alot of pubs and Dominos pizza! Pretty decent hostel but the loudest plumbing i have ever heard. flushing the toilet rattles the entire building.

4pretty good hostel we stayed in privte rooms and they werte very good,the kitchen was great and so too showers,but a tv room would be great

2No hot water in the sinks. So plan on cold water when washing face or trying to clean the dishes. Small kitchen which was quite cramped. There is a bar down below so bring ear plugs unless you want to be kept up all night by the blaring music.

2Overall a great hostel, great for value and the recommendation for hiring a bike was gold, as the national park has awesome downhill mtbike tracks. A chilled atmosphere, a rather small place but thats expected from most irish hostels. Also theres a bar right next door which pours a great Guinness.

3Sugan Hostel is a very special place. Probably the best hostel we found in our trip. It has a lot of character and we felt very safe there even though there weren't any keys to lock the bedrooms. Anyway, that only proves that this hostel can be a very familiar and cosy place. And Killarney is a...

8i really liked this hostel, it was great to stay in a crazy little cottage in ireland and met some great people here. the owner's really friendly and great for info about the area. plus its really central. def recommend staying here.
