Wayside is a family run 11 bedroom guesthouse ideally located within walking distance of Killarney town on one side and the Killarney National Park on the other. All bedrooms are on ground floor level and all include private bathroom facilities, tv, hairdryer, direct dial telephone etc. Mary at Wayside, a registered national tour guide with Failte Ireland will be delighted to give you advice regarding tours and tourist attractions, both in the local area and around Ireland. We can book tours for you here so that you get picked up and dropped off outside Wayside. Wayside is the ideal base from which to enjoy some of Ireland's magnificent golf courses. Killarney has 3 championship 18 hole golf courses and there are several others in the county ie, Dooks, Waterville, Ballybunion and Tralee. We can reserve tee times for you. Other activities in the area : pony trekking, fishing, hill walking, nature walks, mountaineering, cycling, tennis and swimming.

We positioned ourselves here to visit a little further north so this was a good spot for us. Nice hotel, with good restaurant and bar area.
