A fine one-night location: friendly feel to the place and 'Fallow Lodge' personalised towels! Quite a sweet touch. Three miles from the city on a main road, so not at all suitable for those without their own transport.

I stayed at Fallow Lodge for 5 days straight. Eileen is an amazing, delightful woman who is always eager to help you out with whatever you need. I was a little cautious, thinking it a hostel, but this is one great and cheap B&B. The walk's an hour and ten minutes into town, and there's not a... more I stayed at Fallow Lodge for 5 days straight. Eileen is an amazing, delightful woman who is always eager to help you out with whatever you need. I was a little cautious, thinking it a hostel, but this is one great and cheap B&B. The walk's an hour and ten minutes into town, and there's not a sidewalk the whole way, so you're more likely to take a 10 euro cab ride in. But if it's worth it to you, this is definitely a wonderful place to stay.close
