Our mission is to provide our guests with friendly service and a high quality accommodation experience at the gateway to the Burren. On check in you will receive a voucher for a free pint of Guinness in Vaughan's Pub next door to the hostel. Kilfenora is located 50 minutes form Shannon Airport, 1 hour from Galway, 1 hour from Limerick and 31/2 hours from Dublin. Only minutes from Lahinch, Doolin, Cliffs of Moher, Lisdoonvarna and other picturesque localities. We are also a stones throw from the famous Vaughan's Pub where, if, you are not up for cooking for yourself you can enjoy a good old fashioned Bacon & Cabbage or Beef & Guinness Stew amongst other treats. Our Facilities; 9 rooms accommodating 8 guests to 2 guest all en-suite, common room with a solid fuel stove, tv/dvd, board games and bookshop a seminar/conference room, fully equipped kitchen designs for the use of all guests allowing hygienic food storage and preparation, dining area, laundrette, outdoor BBQ area, luggage storage.

My stay at the Kilfenora hostel was wonderful. The hostel itself was clean and comfortable and the staff were very nice. Watching the set dancing at the barn next door just added to the experience

Quiet while I stayed there; very clean, friendly and helpful. Rooms are a good size, beds very comfortable; ideally situated and highly recommended for exploring the Burren.

The kitchen and common areas were very nice. There are a bunch of tapes but no vcr, and I didn't understand why. There is a dvd playyer but no dvds. There were cereals and butter on a counter, but the butter was rotten and green. The staff were very nice.

What a perfect place to stay if you have a car. Staff could not have been more helpful and it was a beautiful area. Only thing is that once you are there by bus there is no transport to see any of the sights so I missed out but enjoyed the downtime to relax all the same.

Extremely clean, reasonably priced, beautiful location, amazing showers! Very helpfull and friendly staff/locals. Great pub next door.

One of the best hostels we have ever stayed in. The people are so kind, and the area is beautiful. A very clean and bright, new hostel, with great pub next door. A very helpful staff. We hope to visit Kilfenora again.
