When we were there the weather was amazing- I think we were lucky, but the coastline and the hills of the Burren were rugged and beautiful. There seemed to be lots to do, horse riding nearby, walking in the burren and a great pub called Vaughans that had Irish dancing a couple of nights a week (unfortunately we missed this too!). You really need a car to get around, but we saw plenty of people hitching around the area.close

10My stay at the Kilfenora hostel was wonderful. The hostel itself was clean and comfortable and the staff were very nice. Watching the set dancing at the barn next door just added to the experience
