kenmare is a nice, small town and this hostel is perfect for those just wanting to experience the town. no frills or breakfast but it's location is great and Kenmare has more then enough nice places to eat and visit.

On the surface seemed like a nice hostel. No hot water in the showers 3 times we tried to use it. Simply not acceptable!!!

Great location, nice room (although we had a water pipe running right next to the bed which was very noisy anytime anyone on the floor above ran a tap/flushed the loo!). Large nice and well equipped kitchen/dining area. Would have been nice to have a couple of comfy chairs though...

the room we stayed was clean but not very functional. there was only a bed and a rather poor opinion to put things on it - nothing else (except of the TV). the room was much too big related to the things in it, which made it very incomfortable. the staff was very welcoming and the room was very comfortable. the offer a copious breakfast!! additionally you will have a great view to the seaside!

Staff? What staff - never saw any except the guy in the camera store. The hostel itself was okay, but I guess my experience was clouded by the obnoxious italians in my room - two of whom seemed to have no problem having sex in a room full of people.

The hostel was interesting because of it's independent, on-your-own feel. I actually got a good night's sleep because there were only three of us in the room.

No one knew how much I owed for the room, so the 10% deposit was not credited to my bill. The room was fine as was the shower. A quite place in a quite city.

A fine place for exploring the Ring of Kerry. It has great kitchen facilities and very clean bathrooms. The staff seemed a little indifferent but it is a good budget choice.

This was a nice stay @ Kenmare, unfortunately it was saturday night and the walls are very thin. So that other people could be heard up to 4 o´clock am. The Hostel is very clean and we would recommend it. Thanks. SEBASTIAN from GER

When we arrvied the doors were closed and no one answered the phone, we tried everything between 11am and 3pm...hostel staff sent email to apologised but our weekend trip was ruined and we had to drive home again!!!

Very nice hostel - of a far better standard than I expected for a hostel. Kenmare is a pretty town, although seems to cater to American tourists with large pockets!

All good except one thing. Booked a room for 4 people (2 single, one double bed). Unsure if 4th person would arrive or not.
