Hotel Kucera is situated directly in the centre of Karlovy Vary spa zone (the healing springs are only 50 m from the entrance to the hotel). Our hotel, located in a historically significant building of the spa colonnade, is built in the Secession style. Its history dates back to 1715. After the complete reconstruction of Hotel Kucera in 2004 we can offer an accommodation in 'garni hotel***' standard. Our guests can select from two room categories. The category 'A' rooms have a balcony with a view over the spa colonnade. These very spacious rooms (over 30m2) are decorated with romantic, gold inlaid ceilings. For guests who prefer peace and quiet environment we would like to recommend category 'B' rooms since their windows are situated on the opposite side. On the first floor, there is a Wellness Centre. You can use the massage salon (wide selection of various types of massages), beauty salon (mud wraps etc.), sun-bed and a hairdresser´s studio. On the third floor you will find kitchen for all hotel guests where you can lounge over a cup of coffee. Other hotel equipment: a breakfast room, a lift, a hotel safe deposit in the office, a rental of mountain-bikes and in-line skates and a shoe-cleaner. Additional services: We prepare for all our guests rich self-service breakfasts. We provide hotel transport, there is an access to the Internet in the hotel office, it is possible to use office services (fax sending, copying etc) and to borrow a hairdrier, an iron etc. We accept majority of credit cards. An accommodation for your pets is free of charge. We provide spa care in the near sanatorium, you can use our accommodation packages, we will be pleased to recommend or to help you organize your free time.

The location was ok, seemed to be in the more well off part of town but was easy walk to the city centre. Please however be aware that there was no #11 bus that we could find. Take the #2 bus from the bus station and cross over the bridge.close

I cannot advice anyone to stay clear of this place strongly enough, unless of course they enjoy being insulted as a part of their holiday experience. In the end we decided to forfit the deposit and look for other accomodation rather than have to deal with the staff at this hostel.close

We really enjoyed staying in this magnificent hotel. The rooms were ornate but not pretencious. The staff were very warm and friendly with a great sense of humour. we were given tips on where to eat and go. Spot on! I would whole-heartedly recommend this hotel to everyone.

A very nice hotel, the room was very big and comfortable, good price, and the views of Karlovy Vary from the room were enjoyable. Very recommendable!

this place was great....very quiet, the people who worked there were very nice, the hotel itself offers many different things including a spa and breakfast. Worth the price! Right in the middle of town. Would for sure stay again!

It overcharged me with non-sense title.close

Fading grandeur would be a way to describe the hotel, lovely location, but they couldn't organise spas for us. Central European breakfast buffet.

cleanliness in the room could have been better, however the room was comfortable. The location is fantastic and the staff, although not around too much, where very relaxed and helpful.

The good deal is to have dinner at the hotel, only 200 Kcs for a complete (and very good!) meal. Moreover, the waiter was really cool and helpful.

It was a really nice hotel- fantastic value for money. Our room was so spacious and we had a tv, bathroom, balcony, fridge and a chandlier (!!). We loved it.
