2. Hotel Svaty Hubert 87%      

   We were unaware when we booked this hostel that the bus ride to Karlovy Vary was an hour+ and only runs a few times a day. But once we got to know the staff (Dan and Tereza, most amazing people you will ever meet in your entire life), we fell in love with the place and the bus ride didn't seem so...

3. Quest Hostel & Apartments 82%      

   Quite good space in the apartment, Excellent Breaky, actually too much for me, save the lunch even afternoon tea. Need more woks and other cooking stuff in the kitchen maybe.

   Bar downstairs and free breakfast, can't go wrong. Have to admit the walk was quite a bit of a trek to get there. There are stairs on the left of the hill to get up which is a lil nicer than taking the road.

4. Pension Villa Basileia 82%      

   Provided safe parking and easy access to buses to take to main part of Karlovy Vary. However, it was very difficult to find and got lost several times. Web site needs more adequate instructions for drivers with names of main streets. People should also be told that it is not in the "tourist"...

   More a pensione that a hostel, this place provides great value in the iincredibly overpriced Karlovy Vary - a town which caters for rich Russian women wearing furs. Location is about 10 minutes walk from the centre of the old town, but it's not an unpleasant walk, and means it's quiet at least....

   We stayed in 4 bed ensuite, it was great fun! appt. was clean, big kitchen, shower, cosy room. For 4 people it's a little bit small, ideal for 2-3 people. Location is perfect - 5-7 min walk till touristic center, shops nearby. The heat cant be turned off, so we had to sleep with the window...
