Engholm's Husky design lodge is a 'different place', situated next to the Karasjohka River, 6km outside of Karasjok. The log houses at the lodge have their own special charm. The wood heated hot tub and sauna is very cosy and is very popular with our guests. The 'Barta' is a special turf covered log house where we gather around the open fire sitting on reindeer furs with special food and good drinks. We are licensed for food and beverages and the 'Barta' is frequently used for social events. Our farm consists of 40-50 highly trained sled dogs for long-distance racing and tours for summer enjoyment

Beatifull place and beatifull girl, fantastic sunlight all day, fantastic forest and landscape. Sr Engholm has created a marvellous word araund him Huskys. SOBRESALIENTE!!!

This is the worst youth hostel I have ever stayed. It is far away from the bus station, about 6km. Before my arrival, I have asked how to get there. The reply said there would be a pick up service free of charge, just in front of the bus station. But when my arrival, the guy on the phone told me... more This is the worst youth hostel I have ever stayed. It is far away from the bus station, about 6km. Before my arrival, I have asked how to get there. The reply said there would be a pick up service free of charge, just in front of the bus station. But when my arrival, the guy on the phone told me there had never been a pick up service. Actually, there is a camping site near the bus station, which is much better than it. I suggest people to take that camping. Get out of the bus at Karasjok Rica Hotel, go ahead along the road for 500m, you can find it on your left hand side.close
