Breakfast at Kikunoya costs 1050 yen but it is something you cannot miss! I have never had such a breakfast before in my life. It is full of Japanese spirit! During my stay at Kikunoya Ryokan, the house master just launched their new website. http://kikunoya.ninja-web.net/ He asked me how I like it. I honestly answered just so so. It just looks like handmade, but that’s Kikunoya I guess.close

Couldn't have found a better place to spend a night in Kanazawa - from the moment i walked in the door the Owner was grateful for my presence and made me feel really welcome. He doesn't really speak english, but that was ok. I would DEFINITELY recommend you stay there!!! The hostel was hard to get to as it was down a side street.However, once you got there, it was lovely, quiet and clean. Host was welcoming and helpful. Would stay there again.

The owners were really helpful and very friendly. It was a real gem and a great opportunity to stay in a Ryokan - excellent value for money; our room was huge. There was free internet and we were close to the main sights. Would definitely stay here again and recommend others to do the same!

We really enjoyed our stay here and would definitely stay again. The owners were very nice and were able to speak english pretty well. There was quite a bit to do close by - Kenrokuen, museums, shopping, delicious food, plus more we didn't have time to explore. The room was very nice as well....
