Got a bit lost when I first came in! Love the lounge, sitting by that fire and reading was definately a highlight of my disappointing weekend (the weather's fault, not the hostel's). Thanks very much!

Need a car if you want to go anywhere. We were there to swim with the dolphins which was a 3 minute ride away.

This Hostel was great value for money,, a great location with a great view, firendly staff and a homey environment. Dennis, the owner, was awesome! Cheers for a great stay!

This hostel was ok until the Kiwi Experience bus arrived each day- with a bus full of these people one computer and one washing machine did not feel like enough!

Two things at play here: Great atmosphere if you're staying for a while and want to hang out with new buddies (its in a house and feels like a big frathouse atmosphere, excellent host). Great view, but you pay for it by climbing a bit of a hill every time to go up to the house.

A friendly place and the log fires are nice in the evening. A very good stone BBQ too (the local butcher does very tasty steaks).
