   Great people - wanted to stay there longer but was all booked up! Don't miss out on Judy's chocolate muffins & excellent breakfast. Very relaxed & good vibe. A++++

   Got a bit lost when I first came in! Love the lounge, sitting by that fire and reading was definately a highlight of my disappointing weekend (the weather's fault, not the hostel's). Thanks very much!

4. Albatross Backpacker Inn 80%      

   Really lovely atmosphere in this hostel and was nice and quiet. Would definitely recommend it.

   Not the place you go to to party, but if you want a relaxing time to recharge the batteries then you cant go past this place. Excellent friendly and accomodating staff made it a restful stay.

5. YHA Kaikoura 77%      

   Great location if you don't mind what is a pretty lovely walk into town (about 20 mins) Rooms 6/7 have a great view out over the bay to the mountains.

   booked online for two days 3 and4th of October. when we arrived we were only booked for one day on their computer but both days on the internet, luckily they were able to put us up in different rooms. not a good thing to happen when the whole city is booked out.
