This place was let down by the bathroom - it was dirty, the flush didn't work on the toilet and the drains didn't drain! They were also undergoing extensibve renovation works at the time of visit so everything was covered in dust. Overall certainly not worth the cost. Wifi is available though (at...

This place was brilliant, the staff are really friendly (if slightly eccentric!) and trustworthy. They take no commission for rickshaws and are very useful in arranging day-trips. They can also arrange railway tickets in advance, and are building a pool. Very good value and a great place to stay.

It's by far the most characteristic guesthouse we stayed in. The rooftop offers good view of the fort. It's Rs.20 rickshaw to Clock Tower, Rs. 50 for breakfast. Bring/Buy toilet paper! The family is very very nice and we were well taken care of! A great start to our trip in...

A fantastically friendly and helpful family run this place. Whilst my room was basic, this was more than compensated for by the owners booking me a bus ticket to Jaisalmer at very short notice (I arrived at 9pm and wanted a ticket for the following morning) and expected no commission whatsoever.

WOW, what a place to stay! Friendly owner makes your stay here a brilliant experience. Great view from rooftop, but it is the characterful interior that sets this hotel above the others, a bit like staying in an eccentric museum. Fantastic!

I really liked this guesthouse. The two sons (who basically ran the place while we were there) were very helpful. The rooms were clean and the Mehrangarh Fort is about a 15-20 minutes walk. The only negative is that the water pressure of the shower isn't great and that isn't much to complain about!!close

The main problem is that it is very hard to find and pickup mentioned not allways works. Taxi and Rickshaw drivers are trying to drive you somewhere else pretending that this guesthouse is closed or not secure.
