Very clean basic hotel in the heart of the bodegas district. Easy walking to all sites. Staff is very friendly. I stayed only one night because my itinerary allowed only that much time. Would have stayed at this establishment longer given the opportunity.

Nice hotel-- bit of a walk and no directions given, but the people in the town were very helpful. Very cute place-- lots of character, with a/c and comfy beds, great bathrooms.

The only reason I put fun a little lower is because we were told to be quiet when we were just talking and laughing in our room one night. But the people were friendly and helpful and the place was VERY clean. Also there is WiFi which was so great to have.

Average budget hotel, with no backpacker charme and a "yellowed" style... but ok for sleeping. The staff is frendly, there is one free internet terminal. Breakfast is not included (3,50 €).

This hostal is very central and convenient for the rail and bus stations. It is also very convenient for the excellent and very cheap bus service to and from the bus station. The staff are very friendly and efficient and speak very good English. The rooms are basic but very clean. It is very good...

Nice hotel. Prices increase for feria week as I suspect they do everywhere in Jerez. Clean and quiet. Located between town centre and train/bus station, which is about a ten minute walk away.

you have to change your condition of cancel because if somebody make reservation previously day and are not able to come next day due to bad weather (area of sevilla raining so heavily 8-10/04 that draiving by small car was very dangerous !!) so hotel should not rights charge room price !!

A good budget hotel, although not a hostel atmosphere. Great if you need a quiet night, staff were friendly and kindly adjusted our booking after we arrived a day early! We enjoyed our stay in Jerez and would recommend the city.

Not as close to the train station as I was made to believe. Also, was a lil bit disappointed that price did not include breakfast.

Good location and helpful staff. There was air conditioner in my single room so no central heating. Should be okay in Summer. Very clean.

We only spent a night there, and most of that time we were out on the town, so it's likely the hotel (this is a ** hotel not a hostel) offers more facilities than we know. The balconies are cool :), the staff are pleasant and the centre of town is within easy walking distance.

Not really a hostel at all - very much a hotel but with very friendly owners. Rooms were spotless though furnishings were quite out of date.

Among hotels with 2 stars where we've stayed, Avila is one of the best. They provide us with higher level services such as free internet, hot strong shower, soap & shampoo, daily bed making, TV, airconditioning, breakfast with toasted bread as well as reliable friendly staff.

The hotel was clean and comfortable, and the staff were all EXTREMELY helpful, knowledgeable, and polite. Bonus: they serve a breakfast of Tostada with your choice of hot beverage and juice for only 3 Euro! Very nice way to wake up.

The staff were exceptionally friendly and helfpul. When we first arrived there was minimal hot water in the middle of the day (when we wanted to have showers), but they fixed this problem. Our room was clean and spacious. We do recommend this hotel.

The staff are very helpful and happily recommended places to eat and things to check out as well as letting me leave my bags there for the day after checking out. The location is close to the station and some of the smaller bodegas (only 100m or so) but the two biggest bodegas, Gonzales Byass and Domecq are on the other side of the centre of town - a 15 minute walk or so. Overall, very comfortable.close
