One of the nicest places I visited in India. It is like stepping back in time as it looks like you are about to enter a fort in the middle of the desert. The highlight of my trip to India was here when we went out on a camel ride in the desert and stayed overnight, just us and the stars, I don't think I have ever experienced anythign like it, complete darkness, the only light being the stars! Definitly worthwhile the trip if you can stand the cuisine in India (which for me consisted of boiled veg and rice!!!) |

Jaisalmer was one of my favourite places in India. The city is so pretty with red sandstone fort looming as its centre. Walking around the inside of the fort feels like you have been brought back in time. If you are doing a camel trek anywhere in Rajasthan I would reccommend Jaisalmer as your base. |

This has been my 4th visit to Jaisalmer. For anyone visiting India, I would rank it amongst the top 3 places to see in this lovely country. |

This city is much cleaner relative to other cities in India.I found this to be the over all best city on our tour of India. |
