It is like stepping back in time as it looks like you are about to enter a fort in the middle of the desert. The highlight of my trip to India was here when we went out on a camel ride in the desert and stayed overnight, just us and the stars, I don't think I have ever experienced anythign like it, complete darkness, the only light being the stars! Definitly worthwhile the trip if you can stand the cuisine in India (which for me consisted of boiled veg and rice!!!)close

staying atthe desert haveli is fanatstic,i feltlike i am staying in maharaja suit design of the building is nice,taditional yellow yellow every point,its tase i liked very much,i do hope no one can say staying at desert haveli is not fabulous, rof top restauranat ,good food and acclaimed views...

Hi every one I am Romeo, I was in Jaisalmer this october Istayed in Hotel Suraj and also did the camel safari organized by them. It was really a nice exprience and I enjoyed my tour because my camel drivers were really from Desert and they are very funny telling me stories of Desert. The quality of Food was really like in back home as well as it was far away...
