A quiet location near the train station but close enough to all the major sites, vinayak guest house is a family run accomodation happy to offer the little details of a morning newspaper and chai along with a refreshingly honest opinon in an otherwise tout agressive city. The rooms are airy and clean, most with attached bathrooms and tv. With internet facilities and a rooftop restaurant offering views of agra fort vinayak guest house is a great place for travelers to meet and explore jaipur. In a very nice and calm neighbourhood, offering a barbershop, a liquor shop, a grocery store to buy cool water, so very nice and simple restaurant, etc, all that in a 200 m. peripheral. It's also very easy to go to the downtown by foot. This family run hostel offers a really agreable athmosphere. Rooms are pretty big, clean, well decorated and all different. All of them have cushions and clean sheet. Some of them have a balcony. The hostel offers two categories of room : Simple one, with common share bathroom, priced 150 Rs. More Elegant ones, with AC, colour cable TV, nice bathroom with 24h hot and cold shower, priced 200 to 500 Rs. The roof top restaurant offers a good view on Jaipur other's rooftop. It makes it a very nice place to sit and chill out to relax. Free newspapers and chai are available every morning. Enjoypur ! Precise address is : Plot no. 4, Kabir Marg, Bani Park Please feel free to ask if you need some more information, and waiting for your confirmation, we look forward to working with you.

The owner is fantastic and it is very cheap and clean compared to India. We liked it very much.

Vinayak is run by a very nice and helpful family so the atmosphere is very informal and peaceful. Rooms are a bit expensive for the standard, and it is advisable to use internet outside the guesthouse as it is cheaper.

On the plus: Friendly staff; internet access; good location. On the negative: Hostelworld is double the price - not that busy so just turn up or phone; hard mattresses; touts can sometimes follow you in. But on the whole, good place, nice people.

The hostel was very nice. The walls have a lot of colour and the general standard was very clean. The only problem was pushy salesmen were linked to this accommodation and so be firm and arrange anything yourself!

Good location of the hostel, quite clean, good terace, shower in the rooms, altough some strange things (like conditioner entirely in the room (simultaneously cooling and heating), also - bad cooking).

Had a great stay in the family run guesthouse, very welcoming and happy to help with any needs such as changing money and provided brilliant food. Jaipur such a nice place in comparison to Mumbai, Dehli and Agra, would advise to visit. Sites are all in close proximity by rickshaw.

they were helpful and tried hard to anticipate our needs. The city itself needs some road repairs, so you have to take a tuk tuk pretty far to get into town, but they're willing to help.

For the price, this is a great guest house. Basic but clean. Staff were v friendly and helpful. It's a short tuktuk ride from the centre and train station but we found this not a problem.

The staff here have been wonderfully helpful, particularly in helping us arrange on follow-on travel to Udaipur. The rooms are clean, and the food is pretty tasty. Also, the hand-painted murals in the stairwell are amazing.

The rooms are spacious and clean. Very good value for money. It is at a convenient but quiet location, just 15min rickshaw ride from the Old City. We were very looked after by all the staff. They also offer a good average price menu!

I felt very welcome upon arrival. The room was fine, but the walls were VERY thin, so bring ear plugs! We had no issue getting to our sight seeing locations, and there is an internet/phone location not only just a couple houses down, but also within the guesthouse. The restaraunt was very average - our one meal arrived luke warm, but getting to restaraunts near by should only cost about 20-30 rupees by rickshaw.close

This is a genuinely friendly, family-run place where the atmosphere is very welcoming and the proprietors go out of their way to accommodate guests. It's not centrally located but it is within walking distance of the old city if you can spare 25 minutes and is very close to the train station. The home-cooked food is amazing, don't be shy about trying it!close
