A couple block walk from the train station, but you pass several shops along the way. The owners are incredibly kind and fantastic, the rooms are lovely with great views of the mountains and lovely view of the water from the porch! Overall fantastic place to stay- we want to return when we come back to Japan!!close

Excellent staff. Excellent location. Excellent value. Some traffic noise due to the holiday. Not too flashy but overall, a great little place.

The staff were very nice, and the location was right by the ocean so sleeping with the sound of the waves was nice. A little rough around the edges, but all-in-all a nice place!

The location was very convenient, and Usami Beach is very pleasant. The staff were very friendly and the owner's English is not bad. The room itself is very simple, but adequate. The ocean view from the room was beautiful. Unfortunately, as others have said, this place looks a little run down (but it is very clean). It could definitely use a touch-up. However, considering the price, I would highly recommend staying here.close

Lovely, welcoming, helpful owner. Hostel is a good deal, right infront of the sea. Very clean, just a bit tired round the edges.

The place was rather runned down, but clean. The onsen where ok, but simple. There is a road outside with noisy traffic. But on the other hand u live a few steps from the beach. The host also gave us a ride to the station when we left.close

Usami is a nice little seaside resort. The owners are both very friendly and helpful and the breakfast was lovely too.
