Also, in the hostel you can get info, like a map of Izmir and info about the times busses leave to the airport. The small, narrow street in which the hostel is located is brightly lit at night, so that it is safe to go back to the hostel late.close

Is not easy to reach the center of Izmir, and when you find the hotel it is dificult to park your car, but the hotel is in a convenient place. It is a pity that the staff doesn't speak english. On the overall, a good value in an expensive city like Izmir.

Highly recommended for the budget traveller. Eat at the restaurant next door - get a discount.

Hotel is good in keeping with the city's traditions and cultures. Good links to the cities public transport and sights. Just bear in mind that the owners run a very respectable establishment and some of the everyday occurances we westerners take for granted aren't equally recieved. Will stay...

A basic inner city low budget hotel. Maybe not suitable for lone females, but in an expensive city it is the best deal going. Staff spoke no English but were pleasant and helpful. Air conditioning a bonus. Cleaning staff worked really hard on an old building.

Location of this hotel is great. You can get to the historical sites, shops and around town easily from this point. I would recommend this place to shop over Istanbul, because people are more friendly and less aggressive

I would only stay here again if I had to. It was fine for three days but I wouldn't have liked to stay longer. It would be great if there were other hostels and hotels listed in hostelworld.com in Izmir as there seems to be many hotels around when you're there.

The staff do not speak English but are friendly and helpful. Breakfast is not available in this hotel, but it is surrounded by cafes and other hotels where you can buy breakfast at a very reasonable price. Do not be put off by the initial impression of a dark-panelled reception lobby. The en suite twin room we had was very clean and spacious and air-conditioned. As everywhere in Turkey, tap water is very pure, which was very useful for filling our water bottles, and the streets of this cheerful bustling city are very safe.close

A fairly good combination of state prison, mental ward, and urban housing projects. If that sounds inviting then give it a shot, otherwise, STAY AWAY! Oh yeah, and stay off the elevator!
