Just 5 km from the centre of Verona lies Hotel Valpantena. The hotel offers rooms with private bathrooms, TV, telephone and the possibility of breakfast service with a rich buffet. There is the opportunity to use public transportations to reach the centre of the city and the railway station in a very comfortable way, with a bus stop just in front of the hotel. The hotel enjoys a really nice position at the feet of Verona Hills and it offers the opportunity for the bike lovers to reach downtown Verona through the nature avoiding the main street traffic. And for who enjoy mountain biking it is also possible to reach and discover paths to 'Monti Lessini', where you can taste the typical Verona specialities.

The hotel was nice, but it was much farther outside the city than we were led to believe. Also we were told to come back to pick up our key before midnight, and when we arrived at 11pm, we were completely locked out.

nice and clean, but basic - breakfast served 7-10 am - a bit of a way out from the city centre. bus stop is directly outside the hotel and runs every 30-40 mins. however this ends at about 8-8.45 every night and a taxi from the city centre will cost you in the region of 14/15 euro. atmosphere is... more nice and clean, but basic - breakfast served 7-10 am - a bit of a way out from the city centre. bus stop is directly outside the hotel and runs every 30-40 mins. however this ends at about 8-8.45 every night and a taxi from the city centre will cost you in the region of 14/15 euro. atmosphere is somewhat strange in the place but ensuite rooms are clean and well maintained if not a little rough around the edges. one gentleman (that may be the owner) can be a little strange/off-putting. would recommend looking for something a little closer to the city centre but was excellent for affordability.close

Very far out of town but bus comes every 30 mins from outside the door, Had to climb the fence to get in after 12pm. Had the feeling I was stuck in a time warp

Ten minutes walk to Verona? Try twenty on a bus or 10 in a taxi. Guy on the desk was miserable and didn't seem to want to help. There are no busses to this part of town after 8pm! Apart from that o.k.

Unfriendly staff and a pain in the ass for backpackers due to the location. Also located next to a bussy road. Never again this place.

Only way to get there after midnight is by taxi / own car because the hotel is quite far from city center. Otherwise it's a quite charming building at the hillside.
