The beds were in terrible condition, basically army cots that must have been 20 years old. Very uncomfortable to sleep on. The staff was only mildly helpful as it consisted of two teenage boys - they were the only people manning the desk in the 2.5 days we were there.close

Wow..Breakfast is an absolute feast...The location is great with an easy walk to everything...Staff are really helpful and they have a lift so you dont have to climb heaps of stairs to get to your room..

I think it should be called "Hotel Castle" instead of "Hotel Arena", because it was half a block away from the castle, but 10 mins walk from the arena. I would recommend the hotel to provide sight seeing map. When I was staying there, there weren't many customers. But I can forsee that when the hotel is full, it won't be enough public bathroom (only 1 bathroom per floor). Breakfast was serve in a nice area, not too much choice of food, but still nice.close

We spent only one night, but it was a nice room and had a nice breakfast in the morning in the covered garden, a bit cold, but it must be lovely in summer.Had a stiff neck watching TV as it was placed on top of the wardrobe.

I loved this hotel, the staff were so friendly, they gave me directions to the nearest restaurants that they thought were good. Breakfast was a feast! They need to improve their directions slightly, but basically if you walk to the castello vecchio, and find the street, you will be pretty much...
