Mario and Anne welcome guests to their Italian/English family home in Negrar, 12 km from Verona, near Lake Garda and the Dolomite mountains. Negrar is a traditional old town in a beautiful valley in the Valpolicella area with a lively market on Mondays. The town centre is five minutes' walk from the house, and is famous for its pizzerias and restaurants. Negrar is well known for the production of Valpolicella wine, including top of the market 'Amarone' and 'Recioto'. It is only 12 km from Verona, with its opera season in the Arena (June to August) and its jazz festival in the Roman Theatre in June. It is also convenient for Verona's Trade Fairs, including the world-famous Vinitaly and the International Exhibition of Marble, Stone and Technology; it is only half an hour from Lake Garda and is convenient for travelling to Venice by train. Mario and Anne will be pleased to help you plan your trip. We have one double and one large double/triple room, both with their own private bathrooms. Tea and coffee-making facilities, a fridge and TV are available in the rooms, which have their own balconies. A continental breakfast is served in the comfortable living-room or in the garden in summer. Free Wi-Fi Internet Access. Payment: Cash only, on arrival. Please advise about arrival time.

We wanted to visit some of the local wine producers and Mario seems to know them all - after breakfast he just picked up the phone and fixed up visits to 3 different vineyards where we picked up some great Amarone and Recioto. Apparently there's an Amarone festival at Easter so we're going to try and go back for that. 10/10close

We stayed at Parry B&B for one night in August. The standard was excellent as well as the service and the breakfast! We would definitely stay at Parry's if we would go to Verona again. Linda & Ricard from Stockholm, Sweden
