This hotel has a great location, nice rooms and an ok free breakfast! It would be great for couples with a budgeT,its rather like being a guest in someone's home. However the staff dont live/work full-time so if you arrive early there is no one to let you in (its an apartment)Also they are not... more This hotel has a great location, nice rooms and an ok free breakfast! However the staff dont live/work full-time so if you arrive early there is no one to let you in (its an apartment)Also they are not very helpful, and you can not leave your bags there after you have checked out! We found both out,to our cost! However for good value in verona this b&b cant be easily beatenclose

Perfect Hostel for couples and people who want a bit of a break from the usual hostel environment. Easy to find, even though the directions are very difficult to read, it all makes sense once you get to verona. Dont go here it was the worst hostel in my life and the staff was so unfriendly you cant believe it was true. Again don't go here for your own good.

The help yourself breakfast was a terrific thing for us as we were traveling very early in the morning.

This is not a bed and breakfast. The facility itself is OK,however you will be lucky to get inside as the owner is never there. When I arrived, after buzzing for about 10 minutes, another guest had to let me in! She had only seen the owner once in her 2 day stay also. Eventually the owner... more This is not a bed and breakfast. The facility itself is OK,however you will be lucky to get inside as the owner is never there. When I arrived, after buzzing for about 10 minutes, another guest had to let me in! She had only seen the owner once in her 2 day stay also. Eventually the owner arrived, took my payment and left. The ''breakfast'' component of this Bed & Breakfast consisted of coffee and a jar of biscuits. Nice place, but no help.close

Very good hostel. SUPER close to Arena, lovely rooms, communal kitchen was nice. I have absolutely nothing to say against this hostel except that the "fun factor" wasn't necessarily high, but other than that I would absolutely recommend it to people coming to Verona!

it's a little hard to find since there is no sign or anything...i had to call them to come down and show me where to go. otherwise they were very friendly and the location is excellent. it was unfortunate that i couldn't have a shared accommodation. i had to pay for a double room even though i... more it's a little hard to find since there is no sign or anything...i had to call them to come down and show me where to go. otherwise they were very friendly and the location is excellent. it was unfortunate that i couldn't have a shared accommodation. i had to pay for a double room even though i was by myself. the staff really wasn't around much so if you had questions you probably would have to call them, and i couldn't store my luggage so i had to drag it to the train station =/close

There are several problems with this hostel, the most pressing being that it is impossible to find! There are no signs or indications of where the hostel is whatsoever, even outside the door, and the staff are never there. Also they dont take cards which is annoying. Saying that its right next to the piazza bra and the arena, and the rooms are clean and comfortable. not much of a social hostel. average at best.close

There were kitchen facilities which was a bonus. Very close to a supermarket and close to all the main sites. The front door seems very dodgy, so hard to open.

B&B Castelvechio was an excellent place to stay for a decent price. The accommodation was large, clean, and private. The B&B is above a Giramondo, so you MUST call the receptionist to have them come down and get you. The location is fantastic and we had a very comfortable stay.

A perfectly located apartment in the very center of Verona with very friendly staff. Its only shotcoming is the absence of a 2nd toilet.

The owner was constantly in and out, bringing his friends and doing his laundry without any warning and accompanied by friends who would be very loud in the early morning and late at night. On our last morning, the cleaning lady barged in at 10:00 and asked if we were "finished" because she had to clean the room. The directions are misleading because once we found the place, we had to call the person from the payphone and wait fifteen minutes for him to appear. Ridiculous.close
