Overlooking the lively Gulf of Naples, 1 km away from the ruins of the ancient Roman Villa Pollio and from well equipped beaches. Thanks to its favourable position it will be very easy to reach the most famous touristy places by hydrofoil (Capri, Naples, Ischia, Procida, Positano) or by train (Naples, Pompeii and Herculaneum). The building is divided into three independent flats provided with all comforts (colour TV, central heating, and hairdryer). Each apartment has parking space, an outside area with table, chairs and deckchairs where you can enjoy the peace and quiet of the place. The shared areas are equipped with a swimming pool, solarium, gym, football pitch, bowling green, volleyball pitch, a wide hall for breakfast, lunch and dinner where you can spend pleasant moments tasting the typical and genuine products or learning how to make a pizza or bread. You can also enjoy a nice walk through the relaxing lemon and olive groves or horse riding.

Everything was broken - the lift up the 4 flights of stairs, the door to the girls showers ( i had to do a nudie run from the shower to my towel with the door open to the main corridor!!!), The phone was broken but they happily sold us the phone card without telling us, the coffee machine was broken, the heating was broken and the door lock to our room was broken- so anyone who knew could have just walzed on in. Now ... i dont know that all of these things could break in one day and there was absolutely no intention of fixing them. We were expected to be ok with the broken door and were unable to change rooms. The free dinner was convenient and saved us some $$ The milk at breakfast was always sour!! and the kitchen ladies were so rude when i happened to hand her my dinner voucher rather than put it in the basket provided. The cleaners would not let me go to the toilet because the floor was wet. Crazy hey.close

Marco and staff are so helpful and make you feel so welcome nothing is to much trouble. You feel as though you are staying in a family home. Sorrento is so easy to reach as its only a walk down a small path to the bus stop and a small shop on a camp site opposite where bus tickets can be...

Run by a very friendly family. At night they even open their own restaurant with pretty good food. Location is a little far from the central part of Sorrento itself, but it´s well worth the taxi or bus ride. Easily one of the best places I´ve ever stayed at.

It was money well spent . Marco, the owner, is a great guy, extremely helpful. The breakfast was fantastic. The rooms were nicer than in many houses I've been in. The place itself is gorgeous. The only drawback is that it is a little removed (about a 15 minute walk) which isn't that bad considering the view you see on the way there. That is easily resolved though since the bus stops almost right in front of it. Overall, the best I've stayed at in Europe. Extremely, recommended.close

Excellent place to stay and very clean and modern. Great value for money. Only thing with the location - make sure you call first to get exact directions as there is a short cut which makes it a lot easier. Without shortcut can take a lot of time and effort. Directions on site are not very good.

Situated high on a hill amidst orange orchards, it is a lovely place to relax and take some time out after the hustle and bustle of the cities. Our little cabin was homely and comfortable. Marco the owner was very friendly and helpful. They were completing a restaurant while we were there which would make the place more appealing. One thing to take note of is if you don't have a car there is a steep walk from the bus to the Casale which gets quite slippery in the rain. Very homely and enjoyable though!close

My friend and I had a sweet room, in our own villa (off season, so now one else was there) with a private lemon grove and a view of the Mediterranean Ocean! It was incredible. It was like a resort...not a hostel or a hotel. The owner/wife (I think) didn't speak really any English, but knew enough to show us our room (e.g. private villa!) The owner/husband's name was Marco I think and he knew enough English to get by. The breakfast was incredible, in a huge beautiful stone room, which had hot and fresh croissants (some of the best in Europe) with preserves and honey along with cereal and a couple kinds of juices. The location isn't too close to Sorrento, but the bus stop is relatively near the hostel/hotel/resort. (10 minutes by bus) I can't remember what line it is, I think the blue one, or linea A maybe, but you get off near a campground (or the stop past it if it comes by too quick) and then walk up a narrow alley/path, up a hill, and the Casale Antonietta is on your right - I do not believe it is marked actually. The path is a cross the street from the campground at the end of a wall for a different hotel. We just happened to find it because the wife was doing her laundry. You might be able to recognize it from the pictures on the internet, but a big black gate (open during the day) and a two story, rustic looking stone building. Be careful with the buses in Sorrento (and public transportation in all of Italy) because they don't always seem to go the same way, even if they are supposed to. If you can't figure out the bus system get a local taxi to take you there, although they might now know how to get there either…but it might save you a long trip on a bus. The taxis are a rip-off though, watch out. But, anyways, GREAT PLACE - STAY HERE!!!! Very nice, clean, beautiful, you couldn't ask for more in a place to stay!close
