We had a great time at this underrated location on the beach. Liza and Camila were very helpful at the desk and Alfonso was the best free shuttle driver there is!

However, the hotel is about 15 minutes from the downtown area of Sorrento, but they have a shuttle that is very reliable and prompt. The only negative is the beds in my friends' rooms were very soft (rooms 601 & 606). They definitely need to be replaced as they cause sore backs. However, the bed in my room must have been newer because it was very comfortable (room 301).close

The room was extremely small. We were guaranteed either a seaside view or a mountain view but our view was of a stairwell. Location was great, it was right on the beach but to get to the actual town of Sorrento was a ridiculous inconvenience. The first night someone opened our door while we were sleeping...luckily we woke up so nothing happened. I didn't feel safe leaving our luggage in the room. Our stay was supposed to be for four days but we cut it down to two because it was highly unsatisfactory.close

I would not recommend this hostel in Sorrento at all. The place is a hazard when it comes to cleanliness. There are BED BUGS!!!! The rooms and bathrooms are not well maintained.

Great spot away from tourist scene. the only tourists here are italian themsleves so the food is really good, really cheap. its rather quite but nice if you want a gettaway. the hotel shuttle is handy for trips into town.

It can't get much better than a 3-star hotel with your own private beach. Sorrento town is only a 7 minute drive away by Ciro who is a wonderful chauffeur of a shuttle minivan 3-4 times a day. Staying here made me love Sorrento even more!

We felt very safe, comfortable and welcome during our stay. We were fortunate enough to get a large room overlooking the beach. The rooms are very basic but have AC, bar fridge and private bathrooms. Just beware that the quality of the rooms may vary. We visited a number of rooms which were much smaller and not nearly as impressive. For a budget hotel it exceeded our expectations and we'll return again someday (provided we can book a similar room)!close

Which kind of tells you that the 2km away from Sorrento town centre must be as the crow flies through a time warp. Also be warned, although I didn't do it the 500m to the nearest bus stop is probably again a slight underestimation and it will definately be up a steep steep climb. If you are looking to laze on a beach, take in dinner in the town and be back at no later then 11.30pm when the last min bus leaves it is perfect. This location is pretty isolated and all seems to shut down and die at around 11pm. For families and those looking to do nowt it is probably right up your street, although I'd advice you get your own transport as other transport is quite limited.close

The directions given were completely inaccurate. The shuttle bus doesnt run frequently so if you want an early or late night you cant get to and from the hotel unless you want to take taxis. When we returned to our room one night there was a mouse sitting in my suitcase which had left deposits in my case and also pissed on my bed sheets. Otherwise the hotel was fine if you want to be secluded and out of town but expect a hefty steep walk up to the main road and do not try doing this with your suitcase. I would not advise this hotel if you are planning on using Sorrento as a base for day trips as we were.close
