You can go for a walk in the picturesque streets with some of most famous designer shops; they are all there Italian & French. If you go to Capri have your credit card ready or maybe you shouldn’t!!!close

As you wander around the streets of the ancient city, it is hard to fathom that it was once completely buried. Highlights of Italy's number one tourist attraction include Teatro Grande and Anfiteatro.

   On quite a hot afternoon we decided to find some freshness down under the city and we took a tour (in Italian we both speak French which is quite similar so we understood most of the comments) in the catacombs. The visit was an hour and a half long starting from the 18th century waste water... more On quite a hot afternoon we decided to find some freshness down under the city and we took a tour (in Italian we both speak French which is quite similar so we understood most of the comments) in the catacombs. The visit was an hour and a half long starting from the 18th century waste water system, it went on through a former WW2 shelters and an ancient Greek water reserve discovered at the end of a very narrow and humid corridor at the light of the candles we and our group carried, this was educational even though a bit disappointing as no mummies were on sight. The visit finished up outside the caves back on the street of Naples were we were invited in a traditional Neapolitan town house to discover in its basement a very well preserved Roman theatre, this was absolutely amazing to see.close

   Shopping, Naples is a great for shopping whether it’s up market & expensive or cheap & Cheerful. If you are after the top designer boutiques then have a stroll up Chiaia’s Via Calabritto a pedestrian street were you can flash your credit card at Armani and many other designer shops.... more Shopping, Naples is a great for shopping whether it’s up market & expensive or cheap & Cheerful.
