I was looking for a place near the station to go to and from Naples and this was excellent. The staff are friendly and I even got cooked dinner on my third night. Not the best if you are wanting to walk around solo at night though

Hotel Zara was a welcome site after walking through the trash lined streets of Naples. The hostel was clean and the owner was helpful with our questions.

One staff cannot speak English but he was the kindest and nicest. He told me the sightseeing points and showed me guide books. The room was near the reception and the otehr staff and his friends were noisy at night. Location was not so bad if you're careful.

the internet is so slow as if there is none. staff charged me for 2 nights because i am checking out late (i have my part to bare though) and they dont agree to have me paid half the rate.

Hi, I was a little disappointed with Hotel Zara acutally. On arrival the man on reception tried to initially put us into a room with 2 single beds (after specifying we wanted a double) with no bathroom (which we had booked). After telling him this, he went to find us another room, but... more Hi, I was a little disappointed with Hotel Zara acutally. On arrival the man on reception tried to initially put us into a room with 2 single beds (after specifying we wanted a double) with no bathroom (which we had booked). After telling him this, he went to find us another room, but insisted that the room was actually 60 euro on top of the deposit already paid (the room we had booked for 2 nights was 56 euro in total) and that the website price was made up and incorrect. Having already paid a deposit for 2 nights meant we stayed, had this not been the case I would have definitely left to find another place. From this he seemed untrustworthy and dishonest. After this fiasco, I found the staff member unapproachable and a little rude. The odd thing is that at the end of the stay when we paid, he without question asked for the original amount. So dispite it working out, it did affect not only my opinion of Hotel Zara but also of the city. I would not advise other people to stay there if ever asked.close

Beautiful rooms in a horrible area of Naples. Price was good for the season. The guys who run the place are unhelpful and crabby. If you want to use the internet, plan on doing it somewhere else.

the breakfast option (not included) was very expensive for what was available- better money value to get something from one of the many little street shops near the hotel but the hotel is very clean, its location extremely convenient to Napoli Centrale rail station and its staff pleasant and...

The hotel was right next to bus, tram and train stattions which was really helpfull. The staff were great and were always helpfull if asked the best places to go, how to get there etc.

we didn't find naples a pleasant place in itself and hotel zara was an excellent haven from the bedlam outside. it was clean and the staff were friendly. i would not hesistate to use the hotel again.

Car parking is available but it's on the street outside and is not free of charge. I spent another 10 euro extra for it.

The place is very new and unlike any other hostel.... it looks more like hotel. Unfortunately it is in a very noisy location and the beds really are hard (I should have taken previous comment more seriously). Naples is a good place to visit other places from.

I really enjoyed this hotel, the staff is very accomodating the place is very clean and secure, and it's just a few minutes from the train station. The dorm isn't overcrowded and there aren't any bunk beds.

No English, very disorganized...the woman said she did not have our reservation, then when we left the dorm without leaving our bags she thought that we werent coming back and gave our room away, even though we had given her our passport information and checked in and all...

Zara is a convenient 5 min walk from the train station for those using Naples as a departure point it is OK. Local area is very poor and hectic. Ameneties and hot water were below average.

The staff spoke very little english, there were no security lockers and they didn't take credit cards as mentioned on the website. Also no water at all one night and morning and no hot water the next day.

When I arrived at Hotel Zara, the hotel claimed that I did not have a reservation. After a few minutes of arguing, the hotel finally allowed us to stay there for a few more euros than what was listed according to hostelworld.com.
