Rooms are to small and claustrofobic, umidity is high and there is no heating. All we got are sheets and one blanket that was suppoused to keep us warm in December! Also brekfast is very modest...

Nice place, but there was so much noise at night from another group. Also, it was a little strange that we had to pay for an apple. I probably would not stay again.

be prepared to climb, the place is located right next to the metro but straight up, and no working lift, so lots of stairs

This hostel is in a great location and the room is spacious .. the only thing is that it gets very noisy and people can be yelling at the top of their voices at 2am, when you're trying to get some sleep to be up at 6. That's the only negative! The fact that there's no curfew on shouting and...

very nice location,well situated at the metro station mergellina. You see the sea from the hostel. There were ants in our room.

Helpful staff, gets very hot when windows left closed in the day, mosquitos around. Close to metro station for easy access to rest of Naples but thankfully it isn't in city centre - that place is nuts! Has a terrace, nice to sit and eat on. View of Vesuvius! Breakfast nice enough, evening food...

the hostel is not in the center and you have to walk in a dark street to get their.the hoastel was ok but nothing more than that. breakfast wasn't good.

Our room was disappointing - the floor had hair,dust and crumbling walls. No fan and in 32 degrees - they even provide these in India so i'm not sure why they don't have them in Italy - or just this hostel. People very friendly though and helpful. Many thanks

Beautifull scenery, but the walk uphill is difficult, especially with luggage. Staff is mostly pleasant and helpful. Rooms are cleaned daily but look old and used. Wall are particularly stained.

The room was filthy and the bathroom was disgusting. Everytime someone showered, it flooded the bathroom and the whole room. The mattresses were very uncomfortable, the staff unhelpful, the breakfast miserable, and the other guests were equally dull.

Nice place to stay, met a real nice polish girl with whom I travelled with in Naples. Not in the centre of Naples, but close enough, also far enough from the dodgy areas in Naples and all the noise.

great hostel, excellent location and even a cafeteria with dinner in the hostel! had to pay 3.50 and hour for internet and when our sink broke they waited until the next day to fix it, but overall a good place and i would stay there again.

Breakfast was very poor, they gave us a small twin room with a bunk bed, but with a few more euro we would have stayed in a private bed & breakfast with more comfort, better location and gooder breakfast.

The bathroom smelled quite bad, but the hostel is nice otherwise. The staff is very friendly and the location is close to the metro and in a good part of town (which is rare in naples).

The lights in the room is low. Just one lights are in the middle of the room. I'd like reading lights near the beds.

Definitely the worst hostel I've ever been! :( It was very far from the center, dirty, old, decadent and the staff was irritating my nerves. :S Moreover we had to pay a lot for a terrible breakfast and they FORCED us to wake up at a certain time (9am)!! Never ever again!! :(

There are far better hostels to stay at than this one. This is from a period which is gone where you have to put ur own bedsheets on and there is a curfew and a deafiningly loud foghorn following by a lou d announcement which tells you to get out your rooms. The location from the Mergellina metro stop is great. Only around the corner and up a hill. Very quiet at night and the staff were friendly and extremely helpful. It was a great value for the money. They also have 200 beds, so easy to book, even in high season!!!

In all the hostels in Europe which I stayed in and especially in Italy, I was shocked at how rude and unhelpful the people were in this hostel! They did not even wanted to allow me in when I arrived at 2:30 in the morning after a 27 hour travel due to flights that were cancelled! I even phone them earlier in the day to say that we will arrive late! Well it cost a lot of pleading to be let in eventually. To visit a place out of season, one would understand the lack of staff, but not a lack in services!!! The hostel was also very expensive, more than a good hotel on the very expensive Lido in Venice!!! The included breakfast is a shocker!!! I know Italian breakfast very good and this was a big rip-off!!! Sorry guys but you do need to work on your attitude to strangers and be also much more helpful with your information of your city!!!close

constuction was occuring near hostel so signs were lapse and it was difficlut to find the staff were nice but the hostel was full of mozzis, was not clean and construction and noice from club and trains was unbearable. i would not recommend anyone to staff at the gostel due to this

Pretty good hostel overall. Lots of mozzies though. It was good that we were able to book a room with just two beds and our own (small but ok) bathroom. Mergellina is nicer than the centre of Naples too. The staff were pretty miserable though, no smiles at all and the breakfast was pretty...
