90%B&B Sant'Elmo

we enjoyed it and found it to be completely acceptable. Loved "piggy" the dog - he's very friendly. Location appears to be fairly dodgy area of town but we had no issues, people were friendly.

Esta a 10 minutos de las calles turisticas, en una zona poco bulliciosa. A 10 min andando de la estacion de bus. Solo tiene dos habitaciones, asi es muy tranquilo. La dueña es encantadora. Desayunas en tu habitacion.

The room and bathroom were clean but chilly when the portable heaters were off. Sant'Elmo's inclusion into the B&B category is misleading; the meager breakfast consisted of a package of dry, hard toast with jam, three dry figs, and one orange. Extra note for those who plan to stay at B&B Sant'Elmo: Look for the Esso and take the next alley on the right; the B&B's tricky to find because there's no sign along the street and the 'Chiesa di San Giovanni a Carbonara' isn't well-known. It appears like a regular residence with a green gate so you have to look for the doorbell button simply labeled 'Sant'Elmo'.close

The owner of this B&B was wonderful - and the location, just a couple of blocks from Piazza Garibaldi, was great without being overly scuzzy. Breakfast was a nice touch - coffee, bread, and fresh fruit. I'd definitely stay here again - but forewarned in the high summer, no a/c.
