I have been there with my girl-friend. If you are not married couple you can not stay in the same room. Fortunately, they have given us two rooms for the same price, though. No problem with gay's who can share one room :)

i can't really rate this place because we didn't stay there. they had given away our room, but luckily called somewhere else farther away and arranged for us to stay there.

We loved the location for getting around the city. Perfect for taking tuors and getting transportation. The room was nice but a bit high priced. The person working at the front desk didn't seem very happy.

Rooms were very nice and peaceful - cable tv in room very handy for us to watch current world events (a few channels in English). Very nice big showers too!! Was nice to have some decent water pressure :)close

Great place to stay!! Only issue I had was with the 'provided' breakfast. A coffee, a crossiant and some biscotte is not what I would consider a standard breakfast.

The staff does not speak English, which caused some problems.

Very convenient to shops and restaurants. And all the sites are less than a 20 min walk. The rooms are very nice....tall floor to ceiling windows with shutters, clean bath with shower, A/C, TV, little fridge for keeping things cool, and phone. Front desk gentleman very helpful. Breakfast included....croissant, OJ, cafe, toast. Although I am a single traveler, the lack of common area didn't really matter. Most of time spent exploring or reading. Very nice place to relax and enjoy Florence.close

very clean, safe. the area around it is grungy but the hotel was a welcome relief from the crowds and chaos of florence. very clean, calm, pleasant. very good bang for the buck and nice, accomodating owner. breakfast nothing special.
