Hostel is located about 15 minutes from the main train station and about 10 minutes from the center. The room was big and cleaned every day. Breakfast was excellent with wide choice of food and drink. We really enjoyed the stay

This hotel was a great value. It was a slight walk to the main attractions, but it made up for it with its helpful staff, HUGE breakfast, and free wireless internet. A great deal!!

Breakfast set up was the best thing about the savonarola. A bit far out but not too bad. It smells a bit funny too. Staff were very friendly though.

Staff was great: Thank you of orientation to the city of Florence and good tips you gave. Room was excellent, better and bigger than we expected. It was not too far from the city, very close e.g Accademia.

Budget hotel. Very clean and had a fan in the room. Breakfast was good and the staff were all very helpful. Would def stay again. Id recommend it to anyone dying for some privacy and a good nights of rest.

Expect to pay for towels. Kitchen available, air conditioning is in the room and awesome!! The staff was very helpful and we really enjoyed staying here!

I stayed here for 10 days, it was very quiet and I rarely saw anybody else apart from at breakfast. The lady who runs the place is WONDERFUL, the breakfasts are great and there is a huge bookshelf you can pick and choose from. The rooms are well equipped and quaint. My 2 friends and I stayed at Hotel Savonarola and for the price, it was great. Very secure and clean (my 2 big things). The only negative thing about our stay was no A/C! It wasn't too bad at night sleeping though. Breakfast was included and quite a bit of variety. I would stay there again if...

Wonderful pensione, impossible to fault. Good value, lovely staff, beautiful rooms and views as well as a perfect location. Amazing breakfast and coffee. No doubt I will be staying here next time I return to the city. Thank you.

It's a very nice hotel. It's on the 2nd floor, but there's a lift. It's quite near the sights, so you might not need to use public transportation. The staff are wonderful. The room was huge, with a king size bed, which was great. The guy at the front desk spoke english and was friendly and helpful. Beware, if you want to use your laptop, they only provide wireless if you stay for at least a week. That was a disappointment, for the price.

Hotel Savonarola was a great place to stay in Florence. It is located in walking distance of every major attraction. The room was nice and the staff was excellent. If your going to Florence, this is the place to stay.
