2Very nice, small hotel. Terrific, central location. Clean, surprisingly very quiet given the location and simple. If you want luxury this isn't it, but then the price is good here and worth it. The very pleasant, helpful staff makes this family-style hotel a real find.

1Santa Croce is a great base to explore Florence by foot. Appreciated the help of staff members. However, a little bit more of energy and dinamism will make a lot to increase the hotel's popularity.

2The location is WONDERFUL - even if your daughter is not in an apartment literally around the corner. The room was very clean and the bathroom/shower most acceptable. Breakfast was juice, coffee and a roll. For the price and location, it was a great deal. We did later stay at the River Hotel... more The location is WONDERFUL - even if your daughter is not in an apartment literally around the corner. The room was very clean and the bathroom/shower most acceptable. Breakfast was juice, coffee and a roll. For the price and location, it was a great deal. We did later stay at the River Hotel which was nicer with a breakfast buffet and access to a balcony on the Arno - at twice the price and many more steps!close
