The location was perfect, the room was of decent size and the breakfast was very appetizing. The gentleman running the hostel was kind and informative; he helped us make reservations for a musuem and gave us excellent suggestions for restaurants. He also let us keep our luggage in the hostel for the afternoon before we left the city. We couldn't have asked for more.close

Wouldn't mind staying there again! :Dclose

For a 1star hotel it was very good, thinking that we pay 55€. The things in the room/hotel are old, but I think with a little bit more of good taste could be better. Very close to city centre and train station.

Good value for the money.the breakfast is great. 15 minutes walking from train station. But close to most of the shopping street as the florence downtown is very small. It's petty the night shift grandpa doesnt speak English.

Es un hotel familiar de una estrella. Hace esquina con la Plaza San Marco, muy bien comunicada con la red de autobuses de la ciudad, y a 10 minutos andando del Duomo. Incluye desayuno.

For the price and location, a great value. Since I only needed one night before catching a flight home, a clean bed and shower were all I needed, and I felt safe.

Staff very loud and should fix the front door bell as the words "Spingere Porta" (Push Door) still ring in my ears. Definitely not worth the 90 euros per night. Look else where if you do not want to get sick as I did staying here :(close

really liked this place right in the center of Florence but far enough away from the usual tourist spots. Around the corner from "David". Place was really clean and good value. Wifi was expensive enough but is not advertised as being free so they are not trying to con you just might be...

Best accomodations we had in 4 countries and the 8 hotels/hostels we stayed. Not quite in the center of town, but a good location and very good rooms. Little bit much street noise if you leave the window open, but really great.

This Hostel is not clean. Too much pigeon dung in the balcony. Bed linen was giving us allergies. Breakfast was good. But i´d say look further. In case there´s no choice, well, go for it.

It was a nice place and they served a good breakfast in the morning. It had more of a bed and breakfast feel to it rather than a hostel. The guy who worked there didnt speak english very well, and the comforter was dirty but other than that it was a good place to stay!

Better to bring a confirmation of your reservation. Breakfast was good (including melons, apples and some fruit juices). The owner seemed helpful, but his English is not that good, so a little bit of Italian would be of good help. It's not a "typical" hostel, I'd say, because the fun factor was a bit limited as far as we noticed, but it was pretty clean and the showers and beds were ok.close

We got there and the administration tried to change the prices on us. We had to argue with the owner of the hostel on the phone because she wouldn´t even come downstairs to discuss the issue face to face. We finally got our deposit back and left to find another hostel.

BEWARE. we were deceived. we payed for a private ensuite yet there was no bathroom in our room, only a shared one up the hall. I can deal with that, but I COULD NOT DEAL with the BED BUGS!!! I woke up with blisters all over my legs the next morning. It was disgusting. We left after 1 night.

While the location is good, the cleanliness in this place is WAY below the standard of even a cheap camping place - our bathroom was disgusting. Staff spoke only a few words of english and were not very accomodating with changes in dates, etc.
