I liked the location, right next to the San Lorenzo market and you can walk almost everywhere in Florence. The room and breakfast was nice, except for the showers. The shower head just stuck out from the wall right next to the toilet with no difference in the floor at all.

The room was not too bad, but the shared bathrooms stank like urine for our entire stay.

While I was out, they moved my belongings to a different room without my knowledge or permission. During the process they broke a bottle of perfume but they did not tell me about it when I returned. It was not until I asked the receptionist about it, that she admitted she had broken it. When I spoke to the manager he told me it was "standard procedure" to move people's belongings. After much discussion and hassle, I finally got reimbursed but no one ever admitted that they were at fault. I have never felt so violated nor been treated with such disrespect.close

The staff were very friendly and helpful, the rooms were big, clean and very comfortable. It was a relatively quiet place which was great for getting a good nights sleep. Location was excellent -very central, next to the main market.

The shower room was dirty, the water was cold, and I will definitely never come to this place anymore. Although the breakfast was provided but we have to walk to a bar at the corner of the street, and what we get there was only a cheap pastry and a drink... Be careful with check-in time, they have funny schedule! Thanks God we only spend a night there and move to the skirt of the city which was cheaper and very nice.close

Though the lady in the reception came and checked, she could do nothing about it and even thought the water temperature was fine. Well, it was fine for washing hands, but not for showering. Besides, we had to walk 2 mins. to a bar to have breakfast, which was fine, but the breakfast only included a drink and a croissant, which was far from enough. The reception told us the bar was opened at 7 am but the second morning we went there at 7:30 am and it's not opened yet. So we didn't have breakfast that day. The worst thing was that the housekeeper didn't finish making the beds on the first day, and after we comlained, the beds were made the next day but she left a note on the bed, saying "Grazie," which sounded very sarcastic to us. Well, for the price we've paid, there could be better hotels than this one. After all, the hostel we stayed in Rome was even cheaper and better than Regina.close

we (me& my wife) spent 2 nights in this hotel, we ordered 2 beds shared bathroom. The room was 2m x 4.5 m, and the beds was placed diagonally-separated and because of the furniture we couldn't change the position of the beds. in this case it would seems like a hostel than a budget hotel

The receptionist Julia was extremely rude to us. Also, their idea of "luggage storage" was leaving our bags in front of the desk, where the staff couldn't even see it.

We were the only ones on our floor with a bathroom outside the room, and it was down the hall. We felt like we were in a dorm building. Also, we felt like our bathroom wasn't so "private," since we could tell someone had used it before us. Our room was pretty tiny, too, and we didn't...

The were incredibly rude to us starting from the first instant we walked into their awkward reception room. From that point on things went downhill. The staff has no sense of customer relations. The showers were also bad. When we walked into the bathroom we were surprised to see a hole in the floor and a shower head sticking out of a wall. One has to practically bathe on top of the toilet. The location was the only good thing that they had to offer. Save yourself the trouble by staying away from Hotel Regina-Firenze! By the way we would have rated them even lower if possible.close

They had a vacancy for our second night, but our room was literally a hole in the wall. About 3m x 3m big, it contained 2 single fold-out cots, spaced about 10cm apart, and 2 stools. One side of the room had cardboard taped up to cover a hole, and the mirror was strangely located directly next to one of the cots, so that we had to sit on the bed in order to use the mirror. Shared bathroom had a malfunctioning toilet, and shower head was located directly above the toilet seat. Although they reduced the rate for this room (really not worth the 40 euro we spent), they refused to return the 10% deposit we had originally paid through hostelworld, even though they had lost our reservation. Would NOT stay here again!!close
