The area that this hostel is in is not very safe to be walking around in, especially after dark. The staff were not helpful, and kept asking for us to pay our bill even after we already had, so either they had not kept adequate records of it or were trying to get more out of us.

Great place to stay, only ten minutes walk from the station, easy to find. Beware of the MOSQUITOES!!

Location - close to train station and to the main attractions - is the biggest advantage. Nice trattorias at the hotel street, you can have good meals for good prices.

Exactly what you would expect from a one star hotel...minutes from the train station and internet cafes and plenty of places to eat and drink nearby. Staff friendly.

Location is the chief advantage of this hostel - near Duomo and train station, with many supermarkets in the area. The room was clean and quite comfortable. All in all, I can certainly recommend this hostel.

The room was very small, also the bed in our doubleroom was too small for two persons. Long way from the entrance to our room. With luggage steep stairs and long, narrow walks within the house. The location was excellent, the rooms air conditioned (noisy) with TV set. The toilet was small.

Less than five minute walk from train station, and about ten/fifteen to main sights - decent for price. Having a sink in the room was nice, but the rooms were a bit stuffy at night. The showers are incredibly tiny. Breakfast is satisfactory.

Very good position, station is near. No breakfast, be aware. Perfect for those who prefer security and peace.. not for those who want meet people :) Clean place, friendly staff and cool position.. in summer, they have air conditioner! Just one thing: in our room we had one power plug! :)

Very nice little hotel, one floor up to lobby, another to the room, no lift. Limited English but very friendly, helpful staff, nicely furnished room with A/C and daily room service, nice price. Can walk to anywhere in old Florence from here, except perhaps Piazza Michealangelo.

The hotel is located very close to the the bus and train stations, so it is pretty easy to get around Tuscany. The shared bathroom was cleaner than expected too. A slight problem would be the mosquitoes though.

The hostel was not that easy to locate, as the signs that are on the streets do not necessarily depict the correct address. Often only 1 person at the reception, our passports were left right in the open when we were shown our room and that was not very encouraging. The room and bathroom were...

Clean. Do not stay if wanting to meet people. Do not bring a car into Florence. Parking is a beast and the one-ways will stress out the best traveler. Sketchy area of town, in my opinion as a single female.
