It was hotel Giovanni upstairs they put me into when I arrived. I dont know whether they are one in the same but my ratings are for Giovanni. Good location. Great bed. Shared bathroom had no soap. No breakfast provided! Tried to charge me more than Id agreed to paid.

The private bathroom can hardly be called private with connecting and glassless window to the... more This atrocious hostel actually goes under the dual name of Hotel Pena, run by a reasonably nice italian/mid eastern couple, but mainly by relations of non-italian descent and dubious practices. The private bathroom can hardly be called private with connecting and glassless window to the neighbouring bathroom. It was the worst experience of the whole trip, and not the least expensive either. Definitely not suitable for single women travelling alone and can't see it any better for others. Best to avoid altogether........I decided to wait till returning home before offering comment regarding the highly intimidating environment at the time.close

The reception was very friendly, available and smiling.The place was central next to the market for food. A good choice. If I gonna go o firenze, I would come back there

this hotel is pretty good. Its so close to the train station and its pretty easy to get to. theres good restaurants around it, and its pretty convenient. Great location near train station so if you have big bags its quite handy. or if you buy lots of stuff and have to buy and extra bag its not to far to cart to the train.

This is a great family-run hotel. I love the room, but it was very noisy being right on a busy street. The family was helpful and nice.

Hotel was very clean, got a great rate. One proprietor speaks decent English, which helped a lot. Location was great-five minute walk to the Duomo. Not exactly a happening spot, though, but it was good for a quick one night stay.

hotel nella is within walking distance to the terminal, and about a 10minute walk to the Duomo. The staff cleaned my room and the bathroom everyday during my stay. I recommend Hotel Nella to other travellers.
