Double bed with shared bathroom. Room was tiny and dirty. Bathroom was also very small and was almost always occupied. The room had a unique smell. However it was air conditioned and the hotel lobby was ok. Staff were friendly and helpful. Location great!

Such a beautiful hotel with so much character! The staff was fantastic and very helpful. The bartender served up one of his signature drinks and it was to die for! Breakfast was a great value. We were very satisfied with Hotel Bretagna!

The only good thing about this hotel was the location right on the river. Nevertheless, this didnt make up for the tiny box room, which wasn't particularly clean, small shared bathroom and breakfast not included. Couldn't wait to leave.

My son and I came for the history not for the fun. Everything was very good. Thank-you for a lovely B&B. Age groups don't apply for us. I am 59 and my son 22 and we came to spend time together during his college break in a country he has always wanted to see ( I have been before0

They offered to move us to a quiet area of the hotel, no problem. The rooms in the 30s are much nicer, newly renovated, and best of all quiet. Our room in the 20s was fantastic and huge, only problem was the construction, so watch out. Reception was fantastic, recommended great restaurants in the area. Would highly recommend and can't wait to return.close

Very charming! A great price for a really decent hotel with extremely helpful staff, a great location, and good breakfast (although its not included). We ended up staying in Florence an extra night and got a deal on an upgrade. The showers were awesome. Would definitely stay there again.

A cosy budget hotel and is cheap for its standard. Stayed here for an extra night because arrived in Florence earlier than expected. Offered a suite for the same price of a standard room is great!!Enjoyed the jacuzzi and beautiful view of the riverside in the morning. Overall, a great budget hotel!

Overall, recommended.close

Very good location and some friendly staff. There is only one room with a view on the Arno, but, the living room is big and offers a nice view. The only downside is the unclean blanket and covers, although the sheets were very clean and we were happy to get new towels everyday.

This hotel is an unbelievable bargain in the offseason for its location. I would highly, highly recommend it. Being right on the river is wonderful. They have a beautiful breakfast room and small terrace with a gorgeous view of the Ponte Vecchio. The rooms are small but comfortable and pretty clean.

Las instalaciones deben ser renovadas, por lo menos las de la planta superior y el baño. La situación inmejorable. Lástima que no se pueda pagar con tarjeta si vienes de esta web.

Although the room was pretty big and divieded in 2 halves, the sleeping area was only able to fit a double bed and a sigle bed. So when we fitted another single bed, we had no room to move at all !! That's why I believe it was just a triple room. Apart from that everything was very good. The staff there were so nice and helpful all the time. Excellent location as well !close
