Was quite difficult to find with the street numbers being either black or blue, and dont believe is only 5 mins from station...however close to all the sights. Make sure you heed the check in warning because not 24 hr.

We came to this hotel at about 8 oclock and the reception was closed. The next morning the manager was very rude about giving us a refund and was very unhelpful and apathetic.

We won't be staying here again and I'd recommend you not to either. Dirty rooms, broken fan in a heatwave and the owners don't speak a word of any other languages than Italian which is unforgivable in a tourist town

it was better than the Hotel Abaco. Amanda Lear doesn't run the liberty, she runs the Abaco with Salvador Dali by her side.

A little too soft beds and traffic noise from the street but otherwise a good value for money, would recommend. Only Italian speaking staff but more than language skills I apreciate the warm-heartness and flexibility. Grazie! Va bene!

La recepción del hostal se encuentra en una ubicación distinta a la del alojamiento. Eso no se indica antes de la llegada por lo que se hace necesario llamar por teléfono para contactarse con la recepción.

We paid for a regular triple, but were put in a studio apartment for the same price. It had its own bathroom, a patio, and a kitchen. The space was great, I wish we could have stayed longer :)

It was about a 5 minute walk from the train station (and about 5 minutes from the Duomo!) so the location is incredible! When we first arrived, the front door was locked and a little sign directed us across the street to get our keys and sign in. Apparently their office is in that other building, but it wasn't a big deal. The guy working there was really nice about everything, and gave us great advice on where to eat to save money, and extra blankets. The rooms were nice and roomy, however the shower was a little scary... If you don't mind climbing 5 flights of stairs (the alternative is riding in a tiny elevator), this hotel is worth it. Just think of it as practice for climbing the Duomo!close

An ideal place to stay if you want to be near the main sights. Excellent value for money. Guy at the reception was really friendly and helpful. For the price you pay you couldn't ask for any more. Only criticism would be that the sheets could have been changed a bit more regularly.

Roberto and Sandra were excellent hosts. Enjoyed the balcony immensely. The drain in the room shower was very slow, to the point of almost overflowing the shower pan.

The guy at the front spoke english very well, and was very accomodating and cheerful. We had a room with a balcony overlooking the backs of houses so it was very quiet and tranquil. It's only a few minutes from the station and the David but at the end of the day it seems the streets go on...

Please do not be put off by the front appearance, it looks like it is a construction site, but once you are upstairs you are in another world. We had room 10, over looking the trees. The room was very clean and the cool breeze came through the open doors during the night.

The only downfall is the lobby, which is situated across the street in another hotel's lobby and can be a bit awkward at first. The staff were not helpfull and became a bit of a pain when demanding we pay in cash. A long time spent in Florence costs you a lot of hard cash, money that is needed for your daily use rather than your hotel stay. I advise looking for a place that accepts credit cards!!!close
