We were not in the main area, but were lodged in another apartment a few streets over. Rent towels for 2 euro. Owner is extremely nice and helpful. Overall I had a very good time! I would stay here again and would recommend it to others!

There is a nice bar about 150 yards around the corner called Amadeus which played good music in various genres such as rock and soul and disco.close

Great hostel, we stayed in the downstairs apartment, which was perfect for a couple. Leonardo is very helpful, and gave us heaps of information on what to see and do in Florence. I would definitely recommend this hostel to anyone staying in Florence.

This hostel was by far the BEST hostel I have stayed in. The place was clean, safe but what really makes it is the super friendly staff. Everyone there makes you feel right at home. I highly recommended this place.

No clean towels (I think the website said there would be..?), the room was a few blocks away from the main office, there wasn't any internet access, at least none that I could find. However, the room was nice and the location was excellent.

Great central location for an amazing price, the bathrooms are clean and the room is spacious and comfy. The staff were really helpful too, would definately come back! :D

I recommend this hostel to everybody who is looking for a unique, friendly, family-like and very fun experience.Leo will treat you like family and really care about your stay. The atmosphere alone make this hostel worth you stay.

You get your own room which is a welcome change if you're staying in dorms across europe. clean, quiet and very secure (several doors with different keys to get in)but if you are looking to socialize, this isn't the place. it has a few tables, no kitchen

Really awesome place to stay, it is small but its character and staff make it a million times better than any big hostel. They have an small terrace which is great for evening beers. Definately recommend this place for the must stay in Florence.

This hostel was great. Leo was very helpful and the ambience was cool. I would definitely stay here again. It's close to the train station and the main sites of Florence which makes getting anywhere relatively easy on foot.

Pretty sure this place is run by the mob, but it's a good cheap place to stay. Really clean, good location, good stuff. I stayed there for 4 days, worked out really well!

Excellent location as within walking distance to everything! A few small repairs need to be done though i.e. our door knob was nearly falling off the door. Leonardo was very helpful though in telling us about the most important sites, best restaurants, etc.

Leonardo was nice but the hostel was disgusting! It's in a good location but it has lots of flys, nats, etc. I was very disappointed with my stay and would never go back!

Great Location & friendly staff. Clanliness not good. Cleaner left dirty sponges in the bath, did not replace toilet paper etc. Could benefit from a bottle of Exit Mould too!

Leonardo's House far exceeded our expectations. There was a warm personal welcome, we had complete independence to come and go, and the accommodation was superb. If visiting Florence again this, without hesitation, would be the place where I would stay.

When we first arrived Leonardo brought us to our room right away so we could take our heavy backpacks off, and THEN we could worry about passports and payment.
