I can't speak highly enough about the staff at Emerald... George Vincenzo and Michaela were so friendly and helpful with anything you could want to know about Firenze. Thanks guys for making my stay so much more enjoyable!

No complaints on the price, I feel that we got a very good room for what we paid. That being said, it wasn't the cleanest place we stayed, but I would definitely stay there again.

Dont mind my ratings. They were actually overbooked when I was supposed to be there. They told me to arrive any time before 11. My train was a bit late so I arrived at exactly 11. By that point they had taken in some other people, and I had to wait for an hour and a half while the desperately called every other hostel in Florence so I wouldn't have to sleep on the street. Eventually they found a place, it was a bit sketchy but worked. I guess you should make sure to call them often and give updates if you think you might be late.close

The staff was really nice, the rooms could have been warmer, but considering the price/performance ratio it has been a god weekend get away for us!

The hostel was pretty good overall, but the kitchen was literally just a kettle, fridge and microwave (youre not allowed to use the oven or stove top), and you get locked out of the common room and internet at 12 which is a little annoying. Otherwise it was pretty good. It had a good vibe and a...

Location is ok 15 walk from train. My only problem is that I booked a room for 4 and when I got there 1 of the guys in the room stank like ass so they moved me to a 6 room dorm which was ok and everyone in the room took a shower. A really nice hostel for an incredible good price. The staff is incredible nice and the place is very clean. It's not that near from SMN Station if you're carrying a heavy bag, but it's ok to walk from the hostel to the historic centre of the city. This was a great little hostel that was clean and spacious. It isnt the type of hostel where you met people and is really fun but is an ideal place to relax ater site seeing. We highly recomend the the tour tuscany in a day. It was great value and very fun

Emerald Palace is a lovely place to stay due to the friendly and helpful nature of the staff. When we arrived they gave us a map and labelled all the good places to eat and nice places to visit. When we arrived they gave us a map and labelled all the good places to eat and nice places to visit. We used this information throughout our stay- extremely helpful! We were then told our room had been upgraded which was great! The hostel was close to all the sights, we walked everywhere during our time there. The multiple bathrooms in the hostel meant no waiting to get ready. Great all round!close

I booked a dorm at Emerald Palace, was sent to Emerald Fields upon arrival. Right across the street, no problem. Saff were freindly. One thign I wish they had: lockers. For more storage space, but especially for security. Charming girl at the reception showing the good places on the map, free wifi, free tea and coffee. Beautiful building, no curfew, ridicolously cheap. Would definitely stay there again.

It definitely was a good choice to stay there! Special thanks to Vicenzo for the warm welcome&good service. Double/Twin-Rooms in Piazza San Marco are exemplary. In case you feel disturbed by traffic noise you should ask for a room towards the backyard.

I strongly recommand this hostel. It was the best one that I have ever stayed. The appartment for double bed room was really amazing and quite silent.

Emerald Palace was a very good deal for what I spent. No complaints, it was quite relaxing. It didn't seem like the place to go if you want to party, though, so bear that in mind if that's what you're looking for (you might want to look at Plus).

To be honest we didn't actually stay at the hostel as even though we made a booking there was no room when we arrived however we got our own apartment instead so no complaints. The staff were really friendly.

Very nice staff people. Very cozy room, clean bed..maybe not the cleanest blanket but clean sheets. Nice showers and bathrooms. Good location! I recommend!

It was cleaned daily but still really dusty and the bathrooms were gross. Some of the staff were really nice and some weren't at all. It wasn't bad but I wish I stayed somewhere else.

We had a great stay at this hostel! The staff was friendly and helpful, the rooms were very clean, and it was in a great location. We had so much fun we added and extra night - highly recommended.

Great place to stay. Close to Las Ramblas and staff organise parties every night if you wanna meet people. Place is clean, good security. Definitely recommend. Showers are very small tho. Staff were really friendly and showed map of all the good sights to see. Tommo has great music taste!

It was a noicy place in the center of the city, too much noice. We could not sleep whole night. The hostel was vacent except us, they should give us room inside. Vincent was very knind that he gave us ride to train station on our departure day.
