After checked in staff was never around, though very helpful the one time we spoke. Great location, large rooms, would probably go back if in Florence again.

Alessandra and Alex were both extremely helpful with advice on where to go and what to do. Alessandra could not have been any nicer. the location is right in the middle of everything. If you're room is on the street side, it is noisy. Shower water pressure, not the greatest. I would definately...

The location is great but on the downside it was 3 flights of stairs to your room and the noise from the street that it overlooks makes it hard to sleep esp with the heat you have to have the windows open so you don't roast inside the room.

If you're just looking for a bed, by all means this is your place. No t.v., not much of a common room, not much of anything except a place to sleep. Pay attention when your looking for the place because the sign/plaque they have can fit in your hand. The location was amazing and the staff was very helpful. The entire city is in walking distance and everyone is very nice. Perfect for people of multiple ages travelling.

we had a wonderful time and everything was perfect! the location is amazing and the staff was great. thanks for making great memories in florence. having your own apartment for six people was wonderful! a few utensils in the kitchen would have been nice, but that would be hard to keep track...

Excelent... Perfect cleaning, good beds, in a perfect location, no extra cost, good price, NO BREAKFAST but on block near you can get a coffe at normal cost. NOT 24hs STAFF but you get the key and do what you want. Recommended

My friend and I would recommend the Alex House - great location between the Duomo and San Croce and the room was very clean. There was some noise from the street and the staff was not extraordinarily helpful, but neither detracted from the stay and we had a nice few days in Florence.

We had a room to ourselves which is always nice. Not so much a hostel as a guesthouse, but it served its purpose well. Loved our location...right in the middle of everything. Highly recommended as long as you aren't looking to meet new people through your hostel.

other than my spider bite...the hostel is So convenient located! tiny sloped stairs lead you to rooms that have really cool architecture. we had a blue tiled bathroom that rocked!

we had 7 people to fill a room, which was actually like an apartment, very nice and had an Italian feel. Very close to the Duomo. Only problem is that it was very colllldd.

This hostel was pretty nice. We originally booked a private suite with a shared bathroom, but when we got there the owner told us that we had an entire loft all to ourselves with a private bathroom. The staff is pleasant and quiet, helpful in finding all the major locations and (grocery) markets. Quiet hours are after eleven PM, which is respectable. One of the rules however is that one may not drink alcohol in the room, which is disappointing as when one is in Italy, what does one drink- wine. Common fridge available.close

Not very social, its quiet. However, great location, near alot of bars, clubs, touristy places, and restaurants. Very safe, great place to sleep at.

This place is like having your own apartment in Florence. If you're looking for a staff that will help you out or always be around to give you directions this is the wrong place. If you are looking for the best location around that is spotless and like your own apartment in the middle of florence...

The staff was very helpful and the place was very nice for me ,the Mrs and 2 teenage kids.However, an extra toilet would be helpful.Heating for one hour longer would be nice as it was very cold ,nice thick blankets though and the Mrs was very happy with this.

This hostel had a great location right in the heart of Florence. It was very clean and the rooms were pretty spacious, and at a decent price. The only problem is that you have to check in by 7pm, which is fine if you know your way around Florence, but it took us a while to navigate the city....

Big rooms and bathroom, but all are shared even if the reservation says private...Awesome location 10 minute walk or less to all attractions and 15´or 20 to the train station

It is a great location as it is very close to the finish line i.e. 1 min walk from sante croce. you don't need a bus from the train station, it is a short enough walk. This is not a party house - it is very nice, clean and lovely. Very close to all attractions. Our second time staying there. The only complaint was 1 single mosquitoe who feasted on us during the night - but we slept with the window open, so it was our fault. This is a perfect place to stay to...

This hotel is located in the heart of leather shopping territory. Brilliant for the Duomo and many other city attractions. Room was extremely large with wonderful character and charm.

This is NOT Isabella, BUT her partner. Crap when you have ONLY 1 bathroom, including toilet, for the number of rooms and people on 1 floor. Also, write in English when you are corresponding with Australians; not Americans IE VACATION!!! What on earth is a VACATION??????
