This is such a great place. Slightly more expensive than I would have liked but accommodation is expensive in Florence (compared to Rome) in general. A minute's walk from the Duomo. It's just a great place.

I love this place! The location was perfect, the atmosphere was open and friendly, very clean, but most of all the staff was so helpful. I would definitely go back!

O Academy Hostel é muito bem localizado, perto do Duomo, no centro de Florença. Os funcionários são super simpáticos, atenciosos e fluentes em inglês. Além disso o hostel é muito limpo, tem café da manhã e internet. Recomendo a todos que forem a Florença a ficarem por lá!

Very good hostel. Staff were great, everything was new and very clean, and there was plenty of room in the four bed room I stayed in. Ivan's restaurant suggestions were very good too. One bathroom between eight people was the only downer, but it's not that big a worry really.

Great stay. I loved the location and free internet. Breakfast was good. The room and the bathroom was great. My room didnt have bunk beds which was nice, just regular beds. I would stay there again.

Amazingly helpful and friendly staff! The hostel itself was in a beautiful traditional building yet the interior design was funky and modern :-) The breakfast was just cakes, biscuits and cereal (which is typical) would have been nice to have real fruit juice, fruit and tea!! OK. Ive been travelling for 6 months now, qnd this is a great hostel. more like a hotel really. amazing location, great bathrooms, free wifi, very secure. if you are sick of staying in rubbish, do yourself a favour and check in here. bit more expensive, but you get what you pay for...

AMAZING hostel... more like a boutique hotel. About 10 seconds walk to the Duomo, i.e. the centre of Florence. Spotlessly clean, great staff, great building/decor, easy to meet people out on the patio/balcony area... can't recommend it enough!

The most welcoming hostel I've stayed in. Too bad I could only stay one night. Well situated. Details like the portable reading light are good. Not sure if the use of the balcony by various young expats not staying there makes it more lively or if they dominate it a bit too much.

This hostel was in a really great location and had very nice facilities and staff. The hostel is kind of quiet, so don't expect too much interaction and partying with your fellow hostel mates. Overall I had a good experience with this hostel.

Fantastic hostel! Great location in town, spotlessley clean, friendly staff, huge security lockers...by far the best hostel in Florence!!! Breakfast was tasty and was available until 11am, so you can even sleep in and not miss the free food!
