There is a 40 minute ride to the city, but it is beautiful. this is more of a family campground than hostel, but i like it because it felt safer. the bus ride to florence is 2.6e, and the hostel sells the tickets. i would stay here again.

too far from Florence to be of any consideration. If you are going only to camping, it is a good camping site in a beautiful region, but if you plan on going to Florence I think a nearer place is very important. It's also expensive for what if offers. Noise until late at night in the hostel so...

This place was great, with a pool and a lovely setting in the hills. The only thing was that it was an hour and 5 euro return to Florence. This was a little annoying. Also if you are staying in dorms - beware. You are below the bar so at night it is very noisy and can hear everyone walking...

Didn't actually end up getting there. Buses stoped at 9pm, no shuttle to the campground. 80 euro cab ride is a little expensive. Staff was unhelpful on the phone. It's too bad, it looked like a really great place to stay.

Being in touch with your horse and nature was the best break of my whole holiday; I would recommend Poggetto to everybody who knows what's worth quality time! Nice people, great busride with view of Tuscany and good food makes my holiday complete; next year I'll be back for sure.close

Outside of Florence but still in a beautiful location. The pool is great except that everyone has to wear a swim cap. A top sheet would be nice on the beds since it's too hot for the blankets they give you.

This place is far from downtown, and the bus schedule makes it impossible to enjoy the Florence night life. But the 40 minute drive is at least a beautiful one! Staff is very friendly, awesome pool. The market is pretty lame, though.

Great place to chillout and unwind after all the cities. It was a really good base for exploring Tuscany. It is well connected on the bus routes, but also feels like something from a movie set, the beautiful countryside. I highly recommend it to fellow backpackers!
