This's the second time I sleep to the villa, and everything 's always perfect. My room (the green suite)'s fantastic and romantic...the breakfast's very good, and the borderins 's like a postcard... Thanks very much to the owners for their hospitality.

It's a hike from anywhere in town, but if you want to stay out of the city, this place is for you.

This is great though as it's up on the hill so is quiet and the views from the rooms are amazing! We had the red room (suite rossa) which was a lovely large room and had a private (but not ensuit) bathroom. There was plenty of parking as they are out of the city.close

This lovely villa has great views, a fantastic breakfast, and FIVE STAR staff who were always warm, friendly and accommodating. By far the most memorable stay in Italy. Although it's located a bit outside of town, the twice daily shuttles make it relatively accessible. Definitely recommended to all!

Very charming, Just a short pleasant walk to the city. The shuttle should run later in the evening. People are very nice but little english is spoken.

The rooms were well air conditioned and secure and the rooms/bathrooms were very very clean. The breakfast is great! The location, though quite far from the old city, is wonderful. It's high up and offers breathtaking views, especially in the mornings. It can get pretty expensive getting to and from the hostel if you plan to take taxis. If you're adventurous, you can always walk! Stay here... you won't regret it!close

The directions are not good. We got lost 2x going there. Wonderful place to rest. Bandara is a great helper and we enjoyed his assistance greatly. Andreas cooks perfectly. Thanks for the wonderful dinner. Priscila and Tulio from Brazil

This place is absolutely gorgeous!!! I would absolutely stay here again. The views are breathtaking and a great value for the price. The family who owns the place is incredibly nice as well. Not in Florence, but about an hour to hour and a half walk to the city center, not too bad.

We were made to feel at home by Andreas and his family - their hospitality and genorosity was amazing. The Villa itself is a bit of a walk from the centre, however once you have got your bearings if you dont mind walking then it is fairly easy walk, alternatively an easy drive or taxi ride. I would recommend this place to anyone visiting florence.close

Loooved it! Beautiful place right outside the city. The staff treated us like family and were so accommodating and helpful. Felt like we were staying in the hills of Tuscany, but were only a stone's throw from the city proper. Lots of personalized attention, felt more like home than a hotel.

This was a delightful little villa in the hills just behind the main town. We didnt have too much trouble getting to and from the city as it was only a 20 min walk and the owners offered us free shuttles daily. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here, and would recommend it to anyone traveling to...

the directions on hostelworld were incorrect so we spent 2 hours looking for the place before we called the owners. The place was beautiful however unless you have a car it is not advisable to stay here.
